STRUCTURE, CLEAN LINES, SEASONAL CHANGES, YEAR-ROUND INTEREST, COLOUR OR TEXTURAL INTEREST.
My home and office gardens are both very structured - hedges, topiary, trees, with colour coordinated perennials. I love having flowers to pick, and have to have it looking good 12 months of the year - which is where the structure comes in. As you will see - my home and office gardens are full of perennials and hedges. I am very lucky in that I get to indulge my passion for native trees and ferns in other areas of the property (see The Waterfall page). I LOVE all plants, and simply adore designing with them to fit a individual property, and client.

The front garden in mid winter - with the topiary structures holding the interest. |
ORANGE AND PURPLE GARDEN

This garden is quite young, and the Buxus balls do not yet show up when it is in full bloom |
OFFICE - FIRST STREET IN MASTERTON
Tiny front courtyard - just pebbles and garden. EXTREMELY low maintenance, with no lawn.

I let Verbena bonariense grow in certain places in the pebbles over summer. Monarch butterflies love them. |
